The building's exterior is quite attractive, and the interior boasts a comfortably casual ambiance. Their chai latte was delicious; I expected it to be slightly sweeter, but it was perfectly enjoyable.

Great atmosphere and coffee. A little on the sweeter side and the muffin and banana bread was yummy! Would come again

I’m participating in the coffee&chocolate trail this year and Down to Earth Cafe is on the trail. I had never been here before and I was impressed! I got the break fast sand which and a coffee and ate it there. Nice environment and the sandwich was very good and fresh! Highway recommend. The clientele was a mix of younger people and older folks.

This is our absolute favorite spot in Mechanicsburg. Food is delicious, there is so much variety, coffee/tea is perfect, and the staff is very kind and so efficient. Love the options to customize drinks. My kids are obsessed with the bagel/egg/and cheese sandwiches. Never had a food or drink we didn’t love there. Avocadoe Toast gets five stars alone! Don’t miss the chance to dine in and use one of their gorgeous oversized mugs. Love the support of local artists also!

This place is a true gem. And by "gem," I mean a place where the food is fantastic, the coffee sings, and the staff are... well, let's just say they're dedicated to their craft, even if their craft seems to involve maintaining perfect internal temperatures despite external forces unknown. We popped in for a quick breakfast, and let me tell you, that breakfast sandwich was stellar. Like, "write-home-to-mom-about-it" stellar. It hit all the right notes, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with love. Then came the iced vanilla latte with whole milk. Oh. My. Goodness. This wasn't your average chain coffee shop's watery, sugar-laden apology for a latte. This was a smooth, rich, vanilla-kissed dream in a cup. My wife and I both agreed: this latte could convert even the most hardcore black coffee drinker. The atmosphere was super nice too – cozy, inviting, the kind of place you want to settle into with a good book or some even better company. Everything was perfect, right down to the last delicious crumb and sip. Except for one minor, hilariously baffling detail: the staff were absolutely freezing. And I don't mean "a little chilly." I mean "visible shivers, huddled forms, and a general air of impending frostbite" cold. It wasn't even a cold day outside! We were genuinely perplexed. Were they rehearsing for an arctic expedition? Was there a secret, staff-only ice sculpture competition happening in the back? Did they forget to pay the heating bill and just decided to power through with sheer willpower and caffeine? We may never know. But bless their bundled hearts, they still served up incredible food and drinks with a smile (albeit a slightly chattering one). Seriously though, Down to Earth Cafe, your food and drinks are top-notch. Just... maybe consider investing in some space heaters, or at least a few extra sweaters for your incredibly dedicated, and visibly hypothermic, team. We'll definitely be back, probably with a few spare scarves just in case! I the customer was warm but the staff were not.

Absolutely loved this Cafe. It is full of vintage and rustic flare. All of the pastries were fresh and the barristas were super helpful with going through the menu. Worth a visit. Lots of seating as well.

This establishment is exceptional and I highly recommend it. The coffee, particularly the vanilla latte, is superior; the food maintains consistent quality, with the breakfast sandwiches being a standout. The restaurant's cleanliness and aesthetic appeal are noteworthy, extending to the restrooms. For an enjoyable experience coupled with the area's finest coffee, this is the ideal location.

Charming cafe that serves excellent iced or hot coffees, lattes, and homemade baked goods. If you’re looking for a quiet coffee house for lunch to relax, sip coffee, read or socialize, this a great place! The seating is hardwood tables and chairs with a couple of comfortable couches and plush chair for relaxed seating. They also have a coffee bar with seating. Please keep in mind, they do ask to respect their 90 minute seating time limit during busy times.
